Ensure Education and Welfare Trust is a Chennai-based non-profit organization founded in 2022 to honor the legacy of Ram Prabhu, whose belief in education’s transformative power continues to inspire our work. What began as a grassroots effort among friends providing cyclone relief has grown into a multifaceted mission empowering communities through education. We directly sponsor school fees for underprivileged children, particularly those from single-mother households, while renovating government schools to create safe, functional learning environments. Our most unique initiative brings generations together – teaching elderly community members to write their names through a 45-day program where high school students become teachers, resulting in heartwarming moments of empowerment that ripple across families.

Our approach is built on three unwavering principles: direct impact with zero middlemen, absolute respect for human dignity, and community-led solutions. Every rupee donated goes straight to beneficiaries, with full transparency through verified receipts and progress reports. We’ve already transformed 4 rural schools, educated 25+ students, and taught 45 elders to sign their names – milestones that reflect our commitment to sustainable change. The trust’s work extends beyond traditional education, creating unexpected connections like when grandparents who learned to write began ensuring their grandchildren attend school regularly, multiplying the impact of every intervention.
